Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in the United States is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli items while maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the deli area. You will assist Members, support club policies, and contribute to a fast, friendly, and accurate shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats.
• Helps Members select the correct products. Samples product to assist in purchasing decisions.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following policies.
• Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date items daily.
• Maintains deli cooler shelves and display cases; stocks and rotates deli items as needed.
