Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a deli teammate to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products while maintaining display cases and a clean, welcoming department. You will assist Members, manage orders, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced retail environment.

This position emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and adherence to club policies as you contribute to a positive shopping experience for our Members.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats. Helps Members select the correct products.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety policies.
• Ensures deli cooler shelves and display cases have a wide variety of product. Stocks and rotates items as needed.
• Operates and handles deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
