Job summary

ACME Markets, Inc. is seeking a friendly Deli Clerk to help customers with selection and preparation of deli meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat items. You will slice, portion, label, and keep the cases stocked, clean, and inviting throughout the day.

In this fast-paced role you’ll handle orders, assist with grab-and-go items, follow food safety guidelines, and provide efficient, courteous service to shoppers. Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role providing friendly service and clear communication.
• Experience slicing, portioning, labeling and handling deli items.
• Knowledge of deli products and fresh food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deli selections and take orders in person or by phone.
• Slice, portion, label, and assemble deli items and grab‑and‑go products.
• Keep displays stocked, clean, and organized with proper pricing and freshness.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and company procedures throughout the day.
