Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to help customers by selecting deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items with friendly, efficient service. You’ll slice, assemble, portion, and create grab-and-go options, while keeping the department inviting.

You’ll also stock displays, maintain cleanliness, monitor freshness and temperatures, and stay busy in a fast-paced environment, balancing orders and routine tasks throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and assist customers with selections and orders.
• Stock, clean, and present displays; monitor freshness and temperature.
• Take orders and work with equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate labeling, portioning, and carry out safety procedures.
