Job summary

HI Steaks in Kihei, HI is seeking part-time Service Deli Clerks to prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, and merchandise deli products while informing customers about offerings. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, with on-island candidates only.

The role supports sales growth by sampling and recommending items, and requires operating equipment such as fryers and slicers, plus using intercoms for promotions. 18+ years old and TB clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising deli products (meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, hot case items).
• Informing customers about deli products and services.
• Help increase sales by offering samples and recommending additional items.
• Operate equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms for promotions and weekly specials.
