Job summary

HI Steaks in Kailua, HI is seeking a part-time Service Deli Clerk. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and relocation assistance is not provided. On-island candidates will be prioritized.

You will prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandize deli products, inform customers about our deli products, and help increase sales by offering samples and recommending items. TB clearance and HS education required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandize the department’s deli products.
• Inform customers about our deli products and services.
• Help increase sales by handing out food samples and recommending additional items to customers.
• Work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce promotions and weekly specials.
