DELI/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 months of food service experience
• 6 months of customer service experience
• Any related retail experience
• Food Handlers Certification
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work weekends regularly, any shift, and overtime as needed
• Less than high school education with up to one month of related experience or training, or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while providing accurate and timely results
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with deli products
• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage others to deliver excellent customer service
• Perform duties as listed on daily tour sheet
• Maintain case and deli area between customers, including stocking, restocking, and cleaning
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies and company initiatives
• Follow all food safety guidelines and standards
• Rotate deli product by code date
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Salary Range: $21.01 - $24.15 per hour
