Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable
• Outgoing, friendly, with a positive attitude
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 4 hours
• Stand for up to 4 hours continuously, total of 8 hours per shift
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation
• Operate slicers and cooking equipment safely
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; obtain Food Handlers permit
• Work in cool and freezer environments
• Other duties as assigned
