Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy" meals and providing high-quality customer service in our Deli department. Your tasks include arranging vegetables, slicing meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department, operate equipment safely, and adhere to health regulations.
• Able to work in temperature-controlled environments (cooler and freezer).
