Job summary

Food Provisions LLC is hiring a full-time Deli Clerk to deliver friendly customer service while preparing sandwiches and managing deli products. You will slice, weigh, package, and label items, restock displays, and ensure freshness and quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean, organized deli areas and assisting with opening/closing duties, with rotating shifts and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Deli Clerk, Deli Associate, Deli Counter Clerk, Sandwich Maker, or related food-service role.
• Experience slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products.
• Ability to prepare sandwiches per recipes, portions, presentation, and food-safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate slicers and other deli equipment.
• Able to maintain clean, organized, and well-presented deli areas.
• Excellent customer-service skills with reliability and teamwork.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work rotating shifts 7:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. including weekends/holidays.

Deli Clerk Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Deli Clerk to provide friendly customer service while preparing sandwiches, slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products. This position will also support daily Deli operations with product restocking, display organization, freshness and quality checks, cleaning, and food preparation to maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready department.

Requirements

Deli Clerk Qualifications:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience as a Deli Clerk, Deli Associate, Deli Counter Clerk, Sandwich Maker, Food Service worker, Supermarket employee, Customer Service representative, or Auxiliar de Deli preferred.
• Experience slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products preferred.
• Ability to prepare sandwiches and other deli items following established recipes, portions, presentation, and food-safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate slicers, utensils, and other Deli equipment.
• Able to maintain deli displays, counters, workstations, and product areas clean, organized, properly stocked, and well presented.
• Excellent customer-service skills with a positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods while performing the physical duties required for the position.
• Willingness to assist with opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, product rotation, and other Deli duties as needed.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
