Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Opelousas, LA, is seeking a friendly Deli Clerk to join our team. You will greet customers, prepare sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items, and maintain a clean deli counter.

You will operate slicers, ovens, and fryers safely, follow food safety guidelines, stock shelves, and assist with opening and closing duties. This is a flexible full-time or part-time role with shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate deli equipment (slicers, ovens, fryers) safely after training.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and store procedures.

• Work collaboratively with store staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required)
