Job summary

Meijer is opening a new Deli/Bakery location in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, IL, serving the greater St. Louis area. We seek an engaged Deli/Bakery Supervisor to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and improve service efficiency from day one.

You will plan, direct and supervise team members across departments, ensure prime product presentation, and uphold company standards while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team members.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet store needs.
• Promote career development and succession planning for team members.
• Manage disciplinary actions and performance decisions.
• Oversee P&L, sales targets and shrink within the department.
• Mentor and coach team to deliver outstanding customer service.
