Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations in Tarboro, NC. You will manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the manager's absence, oversee labor and coaching, and help drive budgeted financial and operating results while delivering fast, friendly service to customers.

You will lead by example in customer care, maintain department standards, and utilize store tools and systems to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with policies.

Competenze

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend training and achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager, including supervising the performance of all duties and responsibilities of Deli Bakery HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor (i.e. expected live) and coaching of associates to achieve productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of our Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, easy, flexible and friendly customer service.
• Role model outstanding, friendly customer service and use skills and knowledge of department products to meet or exceed customers' expectations.
• Control store's expenses through proper ordering, care for supplies and equipment.
• Understand and use company tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, productivity, ordering (CAO), and business information systems; uses Average Cost Inventory System (ACIS).
• Perform duties to ensure department appearance, quality, variety, workplace safety, food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure HMS schedules provide extraordinary customer service, written bi-weekly.
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done per policies.
