Job summary

Family Fare in Standish, MI is seeking a part-time Bakery/Deli Associate to prepare, package, and merchandise bakery and deli products while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety standards.

You will work independently and with team members to stock backrooms, label items, and assist with guest experiences, while adhering to company guidelines and quality expectations. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate in handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products.
• Package and label products per plan.
• Merchandise products according to flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products, rotate and date cases/buckets.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager when products and supplies need ordering.
• Understand basic arithmetic operations used in daily tasks.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and cleaning steps to teammates.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• May perform tasks in other departments as needed.
