Military Deli & Bakery Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager/Shift Lead to support the Deli/Bakery Manager, lead a team of 5–10 colleagues, and ensure top-notch customer service for military personnel and their families at one of our commissary locations.

This hands-on role emphasizes food safety, inventory control, scheduling, training, and accurate records while maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grocery or 2+ years food service experience.
• Previous shift lead/management experience mandatory.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Open availability, including some weekends and closing shifts.

Responsabilités

• Assist Deli/Bakery Manager in providing leadership and directing 5–10 employees.
• Maintain high levels of customer service while meeting commissary requirements.
• Oversee and enforce Food Safety and Sanitation policies and procedures.
• Help manage inventories, scheduling, training, and delegating tasks.
• Prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and monthly profit.
