Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of store operations and merchandising.

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Certification as Food Safety Manager or able to obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager, supervising duties and performance.
• Daily labor management and coaching associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivation to promote the Brand Strategy and culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Model friendly service and use product knowledge to meet customers' expectations.
• Control expenses through proper ordering, supplies and equipment care.
• Utilize company tools and ensure accuracy of reports, scheduling and inventory systems.
• Maintain department appearance, safety and sanitation at all times.
• Ensure Deli Bakery HMS schedules support extraordinary service; adhere to policies.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Record and report accidents; monitor shrink and coaching to prevent losses.
• Adhere to guidelines, maintain security, and complete CBT trainings.
• Meet physical requirements of the position; perform other duties as assigned.
