Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant to help oversee the Fresh Foods Department in Raleigh. The role supports the Department Manager, overseeing up to 80 associates and ensuring service standards are met.

Responsibilities include performing bakery duties, interviewing and training staff, planning and directing work, and addressing issues to drive customer satisfaction and sales while maintaining company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Willingness to participate in required training and team orientation.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per Harris Teeter policies and standards.
• Perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks; and chef; interview and train associates.
