The role requires 4+ years in grocery retail deli/bakery settings, strong leadership, and adherence to health guidelines. You will manage staff, inventories, schedules, and departmental operations in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience.
• 3-5 years grocery retail deli/bakery experience preferred.
• Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly sales and labor projections for the Deli/Bakery Department.
• Monitor costs and expenses; control inventory and shrink.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach staff; perform reviews.
• Oversee department schedules and shift operations.
• Ensure deli/bakery items are in stock for ads and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in deli/bakery areas.
• Assist customers at the deli/bakery counter and cross-sell.
