Job summary

Floco Foods is hiring a deli/bakery supervisor to coach staff, ensure courteous guest service, and meet department targets. You will oversee product preparation, receiving, stocking and safety compliance while maintaining inventory, labor budgeting, and merchandising standards.

This leadership role requires strong communication, the ability to supervise people, and a friendly, proactive approach to help the store deliver smiles and high-quality deli experiences.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
