Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
• Communicate company, department, and job information to associates.
• Establish department performance goals and empower associates to meet targets.
• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train and develop associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Adhere to laws, guidelines and food safety regulations.
• Create an inviting environment and answer questions about specials and products.
• Prepare deli/bakery items per customer requests and slice meats/cheeses as needed.
• Provide customers the fresh products they order and ensure correct portions.
• Inform and educate associates on promotions and departmental plans.
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf tags/promotional signs.
