Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the Deli/Bakery counter and sales floor.
• Slice meats and cheeses using the deli slicer.
• Weigh, package, price, and label Deli/Bakery items.
• Answer questions and make recommendations to customers.
• Handle orders by phone and in person.
• Prepare salad bar items and various deli salads and dips.
• Maintain back coolers and rotate stock.
• Assist with stocking and facing of the Deli/Bakery department.
• Assist Deli Cook with minimal food preparation.
• Maintain sanitation and temperature logs as needed.
• Operate and clean deli equipment.
