Job summary

Food Lion in Salisbury, NC, is seeking a dedicated associate for the Deli Bakery Department to deliver quality customer service, maintain standards, and help maximize sales while following standard practices.

You will handle ordering, receiving, preparation, sanitation, and safety protocols, wear the uniform, complete CBT training, and work with tools like ACIS and CAO to ensure accurate merchandising.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and display of merchandise per policies and guidelines.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge on duty.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet, and Training Aid courses.
