Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver quality customer service while maintaining cleanliness and compliance in the Deli Bakery Department. The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, accurate product handling, and adherence to Food Lion standards.

You will follow standard procedures for ordering, receiving, preparation, labeling and display, while prioritizing food safety and workplace safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic, fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling, and display.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation and displaying merchandise complies with policies.
• Maintain proper sanitation and food handling.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO tools.
• Follow company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Report accidents per procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Wear uniform with name badge and maintain neat appearance.
• Complete CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
