Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service in a fast-paced store setting. Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

In this role you will follow standard operating procedures, use store tools for ordering and inventory, and participate in required trainings to support a clean, organized and welcoming deli/bakery area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast, friendly, accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist other associates in a courteous, helpful manner.
• Follow manuals for product processing and labeling.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling in the department.
• Understand and use company tools like ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report accidents.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear uniform with name badge; maintain neat appearance.
• Complete CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
