Job summary

Food Lion in Morehead City, NC is seeking a Deli Bakery associate to provide quality customer service and maintain standards in the department. You will help with ordering, receiving, preparation, and display while following Food Lion's standard practice manual.

You will ensure sanitation and safe food handling, wear the uniform with name badge, complete CBT and training, and comply with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery department.
• Follow all technical manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling/preparation.
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Wear the uniform with name badge when on duty.
