Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Deli Bakery Associate at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations in Portsmouth, VA. You will deliver enthusiastic customer service, slice meats and cheeses, and help with party trays and sandwich prep while supporting a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role offers weekend shifts, opportunities for cross-training in bakery tasks, and growth within MDBS as you gain experience serving the military community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customers’ requests.
• Prepare custom party trays and assemble sandwiches.
• Stock and organize displays; assist with shipments as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling; work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken prep, or other deli/bakery tasks.

Deli Bakery Associate – Part TimeHiring Immediately!As a Deli Bakery Associate at Military Deli & Bakery Services you will have the opportunity to serve our nation’s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations.
