Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Bakery Associate at one of our US Military Commissary locations near Vance AFB. You will serve our nation’s military personnel and their families with enthusiastic customer service and assist teammates as needed.

The role involves slicing meats, preparing trays, stocking displays, and ensuring proper sanitation. Flexible scheduling, paid time off, holiday pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer’s request.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays, including helping with shipments as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Other duties may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed.
