Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a part-time Deli Bakery Associate to serve military personnel and families at a US Military Commissary location. The role involves slicing meats and cheeses, preparing party trays, stocking displays, and maintaining sanitation.

Weekend availability is required; 15–20 hours per week with shifts across the week. Compensation reflects part-time status with benefits like PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Team player.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer requests.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches.
• Stock and organize displays and assist with shipments.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• May perform cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation or other deli/bakery tasks as needed.
