Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is seeking a Part Time Deli Bakery Associate to serve our nation’s military personnel and families at a US Military Commissary location. You will slice meats, assemble trays, and keep displays stocked in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift; team player.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer’s request.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays; assist with shipments as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the department and proper food handling.
• Demonstrates ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Other deli/bakery tasks may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken prep.
