Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is seeking a part-time Deli Bakery Associate at Fairchild AFB in Washington. You will bake, prepare, package, and label bakery products, while delivering friendly customer service to military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations.

This role requires bakery experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with standing for shifts. We offer flexible schedules and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail baking.
• Knowledge of frozen dough.
• Willing to cross-train in deli tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to utilize commercial ovens.
• Prepare, process, package, and label Bakery products.
• Inspect Bakery products for quality and freshness, rotate products on display and remove products with expired shelf life.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service, teamwork with positive communication, and assist other team members as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

As a Deli Bakery Associate at Military Deli & Bakery Services you will have the opportunity to serve our nation’s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations. • Experience in retail baking
• Knowledge of frozen dough
• Willing to cross-train in deli tasks as needed
• Effective and friendly communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
• Team player
