Job summary

ShopRite of Hackensack is seeking an Appy/Deli Manager to direct the department, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and efficiency in alignment with our service priorities. The role requires strong leadership, training, and adherence to safety standards within the Hackensack, NJ location.

You will oversee essential operations, ensure proper presentation, and maintain high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Appy/Deli Department functions and activities.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals in sales and customer experience.
• Provide onboarding, training, and feedback to department staff.
• Promote friendly, safe, and efficient department operations.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed consistently.
