Job summary

ShopRite of Ramsey, NJ is seeking an Appy/Deli Manager to lead the Appy/Deli Department under the General Store Manager. You will organize all functions, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and engagement.

You will uphold safety, food handling, and QA standards, maintain temperature logs, train staff, and ensure appealing displays and accurate pricing. This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy retail kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to perform basic computer functions and use store systems.
• Experience leading a food-service or retail team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Appy/Deli Department functions to meet goals.
• Lead Associates to achieve department targets and provide training.
• Maintain safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure cleanliness, product presentation, and accurate pricing.
• Interact with Customers to provide prompt, courteous service.
