Job summary

ECS4Kids in Florida is seeking a dedicated classroom Teacher to create a warm, nurturing environment where each child develops language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with families to promote school readiness.

Responsibilities include implementing curricula, documenting progress, and coordinating with an in-class coach and Center Manager to support learners from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate competency to provide effective and nurturing teacher-child interactions.
• Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children.
• Ability to exercise control and maintain appropriate classroom discipline.
• Ability to implement the approved curriculum.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan and organize work and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs.
• Use Teaching Strategies Cloud to plan weekly digital lesson plans.
• Follow approved daily schedules and curricula with fidelity.
• Lead learning times consistent with CLASS philosophy.
• Input daily observation data in TS Gold.
• Maintain accurate VPK attendance and communications with Center Manager.
