Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking several degreed Classroom Behavioral Assistants to support students with IDD/Autism in a New Brighton, PA school setting. Work follows the school calendar with hours roughly 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, as an independent contractor.

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology or related field is required, with preference for candidates who have prior experience with special needs. Compensation is up to $28 per hour, paid weekly to contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Services, or Early Childhood Development REQUIRED.
• Recent Grads passionate about making an impact, encouraged to apply.
• Some experience or knowledge working with Children with special needs preferred.
• Valid Physical/TB screening within a year.
• PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. Edu), and Child Abuse Clearance.
• Valid Driver's License and personal transportation is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to students with intellectual, developmental disabilities (IDD), Autism and/or mental health diagnoses.
• Some personal care will be required.
• Maintain reliability and regular attendance for program needs.
