Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks motivated BHT/RBT professionals to support children with emotional and behavioral disabilities in the Norristown area. You will work one-on-one with students ages 3-21 in various settings, assisting teachers and implementing IEP-driven strategies.

Position runs Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm, with weekly compensation and flexible scheduling. Requirements include a high school diploma, clearances (FBI/ACT 126/Criminal), and CPR/First Aid Level 2 certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with behavioral challenges.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain FBI, ACT 126, and Criminal clearances.
• CPR and First Aid Level 2 certifications must be up to date.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist teachers by helping students with IEP goals (ages 3-21).
• Provide one-on-one support to students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment.
• Implement goal-oriented strategies to foster independence and appropriate social behaviors.
• Monitor changes in mood and behavior and document daily progress.
• Write case notes detailing students' daily progress and outcomes.

Our Client is seeking motivated professionals to work as BHT/RBT in the Norristown area. The Aides will provide support to children with emotional and behavioral disabilities in various settings including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

Client's Available Hours

Monday- Friday: 8am - 3pm.

Summary of Client's Description of this Opportunity

• Provide support and assistance to teachers by helping students with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment: ages 3-21 years old
• Work one on one with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment
• Provide students with goal-oriented support that fosters independence and the ability to display socially acceptable behaviors in the school environment.
• Monitor students' change in moods and/or behaviors
• Write case notes indicating students' daily progress
• Ensure that diversity and commonality are valued.

Client's Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with children with behavioral challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or autism
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid Level 2 certification
