Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking several motivated and reliable Degreed Classroom Behavioral Assistants to support low and mid-functioning students (IDD/MH/Autism) in a New Brighton school environment for the remainder of the school year.

Compensation up to $28/hr, depending on qualifications and availability. School hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, following the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Human Services, Psychology, Social Services, or Early Childhood Development.
• Recent grads encouraged to apply.
• Valid Physical/TB screening within a year.
• PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. Edu), and Child Abuse Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to students with intellectual, developmental disabilities (IDD), Autism and/or mental health diagnoses.
• Some personal care will be required.
