Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking several degreed Classroom Behavioral Assistants to support low and mid-functioning students (IDD/MH/Autism) in a New Brighton school setting for the remainder of the year.

Work hours align with school day, Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates hold a bachelor's degree, have MH/IDD or Autism experience with adolescents or special education, pass background checks, and maintain reliable transportation for consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree REQUIRED
• Experience or knowledge of MH/IDD and/or Autism w/adolescents or Special Education
• Valid Physical/TB screening (within a year)
• PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. Edu), and Child Abuse Clearance
• Valid Driver's License and personal and reliable transportation A MUST

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to students with intellectual, developmental disabilities (IDD), Autism and/or mental health diagnoses.
• May require personal care as needed.
