Job summary

ECS4Kids is seeking Lead Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities in Head Start classrooms in Northeast and Central Florida. You will collaborate with an assistant to align with Head Start Performance Standards and Florida DCF regulations, delivering engaging learning experiences and data-informed instruction.

Lead Teachers support family engagement, health and safety, and prepare learners with strong early literacy and social-emotional skills.

Qualifications

• DCF 45-hour training required.
• Four months of experience teaching preschool-age children.
• Ability to implement approved curriculum and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly lesson plans using Teaching Strategies Cloud.
• Follow curricula and daily schedules with fidelity.
• Use CLASS-aligned strategies to support emotional and instructional quality.
• Conduct daily observations and input data into TS Gold.
• Individualize instruction based on child needs and data.
• Maintain a balanced teacher- and child-directed routine.
