Job summary

TASC is seeking a Deflection Specialist for the BRIDGE Deflection Initiative serving Logan, Mason and Menard Counties. This full-time role involves outreach, education, and direct client services with a public-facing responsibility in the community.

Hybrid work is offered with in-office and remote days after 60 days based on duties. Starting salary ranges from $44,676 to $47,000, contingent on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Outreach experience with direct client services preferred.
• Experience and comfort with community presentations and trainings.
• Strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Connect with clients in targeted communities to provide outreach and education.
• Serve as public face of TASC in designated areas and deliver training.
• Enroll participants and coordinate referrals to services including Medicaid when needed.
• Develop relationships with community partners, law enforcement, and providers.
• Represent the program at community events and provide presentations on deflection.
