Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an experienced Defined Contribution Solutions Strategist to join the DC Solutions team. You will shape retirement investment solutions and work at the intersection of product strategy, thought leadership, and client engagement.

Lead development of DC investment platforms, collaborate with distribution, and position solutions to plan sponsors, consultants, and advisors to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CFA designation, MBA, or advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum 8 years in the institutional DC space within asset management or related fields.
• Experience developing and commercializing DC investment solutions for the U.S. market.
• Deep knowledge of DC trends, plan design and mechanics, and related offerings.
• Strong consultative sales skills engaging plan sponsors and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve PIMCO’s DC investment strategies and products.
• Develop positioning and go-to-market strategies for DC solutions.
• Engage with plan sponsors, consultants, and advisors to assess needs.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Portfolio Management, Marketing, and others.
• Create client-facing materials and thought leadership publications.
• Represent PIMCO at conferences and client events.
