Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Defined Benefit Consultant Solution Architect to design end-to-end business and technical solutions for Workplace Investing Defined Benefit products. You will support daily operations, client work, and project initiatives within the Defined Benefit team, collaborating with internal and external partners across organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and at least five years of Defined Benefit technology, operations and/or implementation experience in HR outsourcing.
• Three+ years of consulting with clients on Defined Benefit product and service design for large, complex plans.
• Analytical, consultative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit industry trends and applying them to client work.
• Knowledge of relationship management, benefits administration and record-keeping.
• In-depth knowledge of Fidelity’s Defined Benefit offerings and related systems.
• Understanding of Fidelity Defined Benefit tech, methodologies and limitations.
• Ability to collaborate across internal and external teams and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Defined Benefit solutions aligned with Fidelity platforms and practices.
• Support day-to-day operations and client work within Defined Benefit.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement configurations and non-standard services.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Leverage testing processes and MS Office tools to validate deliveries.
