Job summary

ether.fi is hiring a smart contract / backend engineer to design, deploy, and operate DeFi yield vaults. You will write vault contracts, build 365/24/7 tooling, and help run live vaults with the team.

The role focuses on the next generation of vault products, ensuring security, reliability, and scalable deployment across multiple chains. Onsite four days per week in NYC, Denver, or the Cayman Islands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience
• Shipped a real yield vault (ERC-4626, or similar) and operated it after launch
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols and security considerations

Responsibilities

• Write production Solidity contracts for yield vaults and deploy them with security in mind
• Build and maintain backend services powering vault operations and automated workflows
• Review and sign vault rebalancing transactions as part of a secure multisig process
• Develop monitoring and tooling to ensure vaults run 24/7 with robust fail-safes
