Job summary

Paxos Labs in New York City is hiring a Smart Contract Engineer to scale its DeFi protocol infrastructure. You will develop solidity contracts, build comprehensive test suites, and uphold open source code standards.

You will research novel vaults and lending mechanisms, lead protocol design decisions, and work closely with a team to bring DeFi to the world’s largest enterprises. The role involves in-person collaboration with occasional remote work on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production Solidity smart contracts to mainnet.
• Experience developing and maintaining tests for smart contract code (unit testing, fork testing, fuzzing, invariants).
• Experience with Foundry or Hardhat.
• Familiarity with Vyper, Rust, Cairo, or Cosmwasm.

Responsibilities

• Research and design novel protocol mechanisms around vaults, lending, and other DeFi primitives.
• Lead protocol design decision making considering tradeoffs across trust assumptions and efficiency.
• Develop solidity contracts and produce comprehensive test suites for the protocol.
• Maintain exemplary organizational and security standards for an open source codebase.
