Job summary

AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Travel Auditor, Research Analyst to provide Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) support to SPS Department and SP16.

Responsibilities include auditing up to 30 travel documents monthly, issuing Notices of Violation with proper citations, and performing data analyses to ensure compliance with DTS, SSPINST 4650, and related policies. Maintain confidentiality and present findings to LDTA or SP16 BH as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Previous experience with SSP DTS and MyTravel
• Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (Navy ERP, TraX)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly audits of at least 30 travel documents.
• Issue Notice of Violation to traveler or user with citations and corrective actions.
• Inquire to obtain information on expenses and validation of receipts.
• Prepare Branch/FA ODTA audit reports and respond to requests from LDTA or SP16 BH.
• Report potential fraud and assist in investigations.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide cited opinions on policies.
• Produce, interpret and communicate reports; back-up Travel Help Desk support.
• Generate and format DTS/MyTravel related reports within timelines.
