The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Test and Evaluation Systems Engineer to help conceive, define, and evaluate system-of-system requirements for operational applications. You will apply modeling, simulation, and analytic tools for sensor, network, combat system, and missile performance, focusing on digital engineering to evolve agile concepts for rapid deployment.

Competenze

BS degree in systems engineering, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related technical degree.
At least 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering, with a focus on test and evaluation.
Knowledge of the full lifecycle systems engineering processes.
Strong speaking and writing skills.
Willing and able to travel periodically, including visits to sponsor offices, supporting contractor sites and test facilities.
Able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately a Secret level clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Mansioni

Lead and participate in live test events at various facilities, contractor sites, and field locations to evaluate system capabilities.
Design and author comprehensive test plans, procedures, and requirements to validate system performance against technical specifications.
Analyze complex test data to identify system anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical recommendations for resolution.
Support the full systems engineering lifecycle by ensuring rigorous Verification and Validation activities are integrated into every stage of development.
