Job summary

Delta Research in Huntsville, AL seeks a Model and Simulation Developer/Engineer to build and apply models, simulations and data analysis tools for DoD missile defense systems. You will assess performance under ground and flight test conditions.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills (Python, C++, FORTRAN), OOP, numerical methods, and exposure to AI methods to improve software development and system analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years DoD-related experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (SECRET preferred).
• Strong programming and object-oriented design skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and simulations for DoD missile defense systems.
• Analyze tool outputs to assess performance under tests and operations.
• Apply numerical methods and AI techniques to improve software and analysis.
