Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer for full-time work in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA. You will analyze inventory effectiveness, apply probability-based analytics, and support modeling across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM plus 2 years’ analysis or modeling experience.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, charts, macros).
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate system simulation frameworks, performance models, threat models, and C2 models.
• Simulate real-time operation and build software/models reflecting projected behavior.
• Create and integrate GUIs and visualization tools.
• Model operational environments; perform trade studies and ROI analyses.
• Develop mission concepts, LORA, spares sensitivity, and O&S cost analyses.
