Job summary

KBR requires a Systems Engineer in the Dayton, OH area to support the Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS) for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The role focuses on lifecycle logistics, testing, and engineering support for global simulators and training systems.

You will develop ATPs, review PWS, evaluate proposals, and participate in key engineering meetings. A Secret clearance with potential TS upgrade is required, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical/software engineering and 10 years of directly related experience are required
• DoD Clearance Requirement: Secret, upgrade to TS will be required
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and Air Force acquisition processes
• Strong understanding of government acquisition and testing processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs) and Government Acceptance Tests (GATs)
• Review Statements of Work (SOW) and PWS with contractors and IPTs
• Conduct technical evaluations of proposals, assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Review Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for accuracy
• Participate in engineering meetings and reviews (SCARs, SECB, TIMs, TRRs, PMRs, CWGs)
• Manage project timelines and deliver milestones
