Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a System Administrator to support the Air Force/Space team at Nellis AFB in Nevada. The role focuses on supporting classified networks, hardware and software configurations, and enterprise services for mission-critical environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in similar roles, DoD 8570 IAT Level II, and current Top-Secret/SCI eligibility. Compensation range is $77,200 to $128,800 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• At least 3 years direct/related experience
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level II or higher
• Working technical competency in one or more of the following platforms: Windows Server, RHEL, Hyper-V/VMware/ESx/XenHypervisors, networking/firewalls/IDS/IPS, forensics, vulnerability assessment, Group Policy management

Responsibilities

• Determining hardware, software, and systems specifications, and configuration requirements.
• Execution of the patching, fixing, and making all assigned systems compliant.
• Planning, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Hyper V, Microsoft Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, client products across multiple networks, and network storage.
• Provide support to users in the areas of account management, enterprise applications, desktop applications, and peripherals.
• May work closely with the ISSO for data transfers and media creation.
• Facilitate and coordinate user account creation and modification.
• Manage user support and coordinate with back shop administrators when additional assistance is required.
• Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
