Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA. This contingent, full-time role requires Top Secret clearance and hands-on Windows server administration and enterprise IT experience.

You will perform full lifecycle administration, including hardware/software installation, configuration, tuning, and vulnerability analysis. You will also assist with procurement‑related market research to ensure compliance with federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional Windows system administration experience.
• Experience with system backup/recovery, security, hardware/software installation and configuration.
• Experience with network security tools such as firewalls.
• Experience developing system specifications and market research for procurement.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Must be designated IAT II with a T5 investigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and secure NSWCDD computer networks and software systems.
• Perform full‑lifecycle administration: hardware/software installation, configuration and performance tuning.
• Support network security operations, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop system specifications.
• Assist with procurement‑related market research to meet federal guidelines.
